Melodic Alternative Rockers REESE Release New “Post-It” Video-clip; Album Out Now on Octopus Rising
The dynamic alternative rock band REESE from Vicenza, Italy, is back with their latest music video, now available on YouTube. Watch it here:
Known for their energetic sound and melodic compositions, REESE continues to captivate fans worldwide. The band has come a long way since their formation in 2006, followed by a rebirth in 2010 after a brief hiatus. Over the years, they have released several EPs, two critically acclaimed full-length albums—Black Russian (2017) and Dreaming Pieces (2022)—and performed across Europe, sharing the stage with renowned international artists.
The song is taken from their new album “Long Streets”, recently released on CD and Streaming Platforms via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. The album was crafted with meticulous care, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Andrea “Spazza” Rigoni at Haunted Studios in Castelgomberto, Italy. Vocal tracks were enhanced by Michele Luppi at MiLu’s RockLab II.
“‘Post-It’ is the third single “It is a melodic rock song, one of the few ballads of the tracklist.” Says the band “It starts with an acoustic intro and builds up to a constant crescendo that leads to a powerful outro riff. The lyrics are about a person that resolves all of your doubts through love. Without this person, all of your plans would remain just some intentions written on some post-its that would eventually fall on the ground and remain unsolved.”
With introspective lyrics exploring themes of loss, change and breaking free from daily routines, REESE’s music resonates deeply with listeners. Their evolving sound bridges the gap between raw energy and polished songwriting, offering something unique for fans of Melodic Alt Rock and 90s Grunge.
